About the Swim
If you’re looking to complete your first swim in open water or you’re already an avid swimmer, then this is the challenge for you!

Swim Serpentine is a one-day open water swimming festival staged in the heart of London. Swimmers will have the chance to swim one mile in this open event. Every swimmer will be able to choose a start wave, with swimmers setting off at regular intervals during the day. All your needs are catered for with heated changing rooms, dunk zone, pontoon start and finish, full water safety crew, hot tubs and an exhibition area.

Terms and conditions

We ask you to agree to our terms and conditions, which are outlined below: ● You will agree to undertake sufficient training to enable you to take part in the Swim Serpentine and that you will be over 18 years of age on the day of the race. ● You will pay a registration fee of £20 and raise a minimum of £250 in personal sponsorship and you will accept this as a firm commitment to Whittington Health Charity. We will ask that you make up from your own resources any shortfall below the minimum £250. ● The registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances ● You will agree that all sponsorship money raised will be donated to Whittington Health Charity (i.e., not shared with other charities). ● You will undertake the training and race at your own risk and absolve Whittington Health Charity from any liability whatsoever as one of its charity runners. ● You will inform Whittington Health Charity at the earliest possible opportunity if you sustain an injury which forces you to withdraw from the swim, and you will take responsibility for informing your sponsors of your withdrawal. ● Swim Serpentine does not allow roll overs to 2027.. ● You will agree to return all sponsorship money to Whittington Health Charity by 16 December 2026 or earlier. ● You must also comply with the terms and conditions set out by the race organisers.
