Raising dough for the Children’s Ward
A group of brilliant FY2 doctors, led by Sarah, swapped scrubs for spatulas to host a bake sale in support of Whittington Health Charity, raising an amazing £500!
The event was a thank you for a new ultrasound machine funded for the children’s ward, already helping improve care for young patients. With generous donations from Gail’s Bakery and plenty of homemade treats, the sale created a real buzz across the hospital.
A huge thank you to Sarah and the team for their creativity and support!
Welcome to Calm Cove!
We’re proud to share that the newly refurbished sensory room at Whittington Hospital has reopened as “Calm Cove”, thanks to support from The Arsenal Foundation, Camp Simcha and the Morrisons Foundation.
Designed to support young patients, the space offers calming sensory features to reduce anxiety and improve wellbeing during hospital stays.
The launch was celebrated with a special visit from Gunnersaurus, bringing smiles to patients, families and staff.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible, a wonderful example of community support in action.
Brightening young patients’ days at Easter
Over Easter, our amazing supporters donated toys for children across Whittington Health NHS Trust, bringing smiles when they’re needed most.
A simple gift can turn a scary hospital experience into a more positive one, supporting children through treatment and recovery. These donations are used all year round to celebrate milestones and bravery.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed, especially Ryman, Candlewood Care Home and Islington GP Federation.
We’re always looking for more support, get in touch if you’d like to be involved!
